company located in Iowa. They offer innovative software solutions for
the chiropractors seeking to strengthen their position in the healthcare
market, now and in the future. Future Health offers a complete practice
management suit that includes scheduling, billing, reporting and even
patient education modules. However, these features do not come without a
price. The complete cost of the Future Health software application
ranges from a low of about $5,000 up to $15,000. Yearly support and
maintenance fees will add to these costs. If money is no object, then
Future Health may be just what the doctor ordered. Free demos are

RAPID EMR
![]()
According to their corporate website, RAPID EMR is
a leading provider of tactical back-office technology solutions
(whatever that means). RAPID EMR is a division of ACOM solutions which
provides software solutions to the healthcare, financial and insurance
industries as well as various government agencies. The RAPID EMR system
produces a variety of chiropractic reports including initial exams,
daily notes, SOAP notes, follow-up exams, and final exams using a
intuitive and interactive point and click desktop interface. Our testers
appreciated and enjoyed both the layout and tabbed navigation featured
in this software system. Reports generated by the RAPID EMR system can
be viewed and edited using Microsoft Word. On the downside, this system
is very costly - running in excess of $4,000.00 which does not include a
support plan. The support plan for the complete system runs about
$1,500.00 per year. They also state that their chiropractic office
software has been optimized for the Tablet PC which will run you an
additional $2,000.00. If you have an unlimited budget and a thirst for
portability, it might be worth checking out, otherwise it may be best to
go with one of the other less expensive chiropractic reporting systems
such as Report Master. Also keep in mind that ACOM does not
specialize in chiropractic office software, and as a result, may not be
in tune with the needs of the profession as much as software companies
who are strictly chiropractic in nature. like many other companies
mentioned. To learn more about ACOM's software solutions for
chiropractic offices, you can visit them on the
web.
EON Systems
![]()
EON Systems offers practice management solutions
for chiropractors and physical therapists. Their chiropractic software
consists of an appointment scheduler, billing module and report
generator. When we contacted the company to inquire about their product,
we were initially told the complete system retails for approximately $5,880.00
plus $120 per month for support and updates. When we seemed
disinterested in purchasing their software and were about to end the
call, the sales representative known as "Bambi" then told us about a
special they have for doctors with less than 300 patients. The "special"
price was around $4,600 not including support. When we questioned Bambi
as to why she didn't explain the "special" price when we first contacted
her, she stated that she forgot about it. In our opinion, this system is
overpriced for the features it offers. EON claims on their website that
they have invested more than $1,000,000 into the development of their
chiropractic office software. It appears as if this cost is being passed
on to the client. You can learn more about EON software on their
corporate website.

PracticeStudio.NET is a complete practice
management software solution offered by MicroFour Inc. The system is
built using the .NET platform which offers many benefits over systems

to other scheduling and billing systems. The complete scheduling,
